Anya Taylor-Joy has confirmed her secret marriage to Malcolm McRae. The 'Queen's Gambit' actress, 27, revealed the news during an interview with British Vogue, saying that she and McRae, 29, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last year.
"I got married last year," Taylor-Joy said. "We had a small two-week break off in the country and got married." She did not reveal any further details about the wedding, but said that it was a "beautiful experience" and that she and McRae are "very happy."
Taylor-Joy and McRae have been dating since 2021, and they made their first public appearance together at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. The couple has kept their relationship relatively private, but Taylor-Joy has previously said that McRae is her "best friend" and that she is "very happy" with him.
Taylor-Joy is best known for her roles in 'The Queen's Gambit,' 'The Witch,' and 'Peaky Blinders.' She is currently starring in the new film 'The Menu,' which is set to be released in November 2022.
