The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is now hiring experienced police officers and cadets. There are over 150 specializations available, so there is sure to be a career that is perfect for you. If you are interested in applying to become an RCMP officer, you can submit an online application on the Government of Canada's GC Jobs website. You must first meet the following requirements:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Have no criminal record
Once you have submitted your application, you will be required to complete an online entrance assessment. If you are successful in the assessment, you will be invited to attend an interview.
